I am Zoltán Délczeg, the founder of Darius Music musical instrument shop. I got a trombone chamber artist teacher's degree at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 1989. As a practising musician I had the chance to play in various different symphonic orchestras of Budapest, besides this I taught in a music school for some years. I started to deal with musical instruments as a co-partner of Karát Ltd between 1989 and 1993,

and then in 1993 I founded Darius Music musical instrument shop in the centre of Budapest, at 58. Paulay Ede St, which is near the Franz Liszt Academy of Music and the State Opera House.

We buy and sell musical instruments and repair, refurbish and restore string instruments from the opening of our shop.

To my greatest delight more and more people turn to us for instrument valuation and expert advising in appreciation of our work.

In the course of the past 20 years I have had the chance to study the works of the most significant instrument makers of the 19-20th centuries, besides this a formidable number of renowned or less known

Italian, French, German, Austrian and Czech string instruments of the 18-20th centuries got to me, thus enriching the experience which makes one be thorouhgly and deeply acquainted with string instruments.

Hereby I would like to express my thanks to my clients - musicians, instrument collectors, private persons - who turned to me with rare and valuable string instruments for opinion or with the purpose of selling them, thus helping my professional development.

I appreciate the cooperation of those experts, foreign specialists who helped me with their invaluable experience in the case of rarities that are hard to identify.

Nevertheless, I would also like to contribute to the preservation , the growth of the earlier great cultural traditions of Hungary myself.

With all the means available I try to help the splendid Hungarian talents, artists get hold of the excellent and valuable musical instruments they deserve.
